It was around 8:00am on Sunday morning when I was told to lead the testimony session in my local teenage church.

She was amongst the few people that came to the altar.

A billion thoughts ran through my mind when I saw her.

My mind was already planning wedding and marriage ceremony...

"How can a girl be this beautiful???" 🤯🤯

I had to compose myself when she stepped forward to share her testimony

She went back to her seat and my eyes and thoughts were already "cat walking" with her back to her seat.

I never really believed at love at first sight until I saw this girl.

From her face, she looked like 15 while I was about 17 or 18 so I thought we were a good fit

How did it all end?

Did I meet her after the service?

Well, "uncle shyness" and "uncle procrastination" didn't allow me

And that was how my "love at first sight for this beautiful girl died some weeks later oooo"

It's funny how this relates to NETWORKING & CONNECTING with valuable people

You have probably attend physical meetings and when it's time to Network with people, you allow PROCRASTINATION, FEAR & SHYNESS have a hold of you

And instead of standing up from your seat to network with people, you'll prefer to sit down in one place like the statue of liberty in Paris [Does the statue of liberty even sit down self? ]😂

If you want to build quality connections, then you must learn to throw FEAR, SHYNESS & PROCRASTINATION in the corner

And act like Esther [in the bible]

In Esther's words "If I perish..." I do what?, "I perish"

And before you ask me the strategy to overcome shyness and fear, that Esther's quote is one of the greatest strategy - "if I perish, I perish"

Just stand up, and walk up to someone in the event, introduce yourself, and ask him/her what he/she does

And tell him or her that it'll be glad to connect with him beyond the event

Then exchange contacts

You'll see that you'll not die!
